The aim of this study is to develop materials for a Citizenship Education program that:

(1) is inclusive not assimilationist or exclusionary;

(2) fitting to Twenty First Century conditions and challenges;

(3) not indoctrinary;

(4) addresses contemporary issues related to addressing historical legacies and contemporary challenges;

(5) promotes healing, hope, and wellbeing.
